Hi , I am new to Ax 2012,

please tell me what is the use of procurement and sourcing module in Ax 2012?

Hi,

The AP module is earlier version is now devided into two parts in AX 2012. AP itself and procurement and sourcing.

Although i haven’t seen any document on the difference, but i can say that in 2012, AP is more related to your finance part and P&S is more related to Purchasing, although you can find many things common.

Like payment journal is available in AP and trade agreement is available in P&S. There are many sush difference between the two modules.
