Kindly anybody explain me what is configurable BOM ?

A BOM where all possible combinations are listed and tied to items and depending upon the item gets selected. So you have a finished goods item that can be finished in red, white or blue, and you list these paints tied to configuration groups - then when the parent being made is “blue” it ignores the red and white and only adds the blue onto the BOM component list.
