We are implementing D365 CE and F&O at my company. We are planning to update our corporate website, currently on Wordpress and managed by an outside vendor. What technical considerations are there when choosing a CMS, data management platform etc? We want to make sure we have compatibility and flexibility for future integrations. Thanks!
Are you going to try to integrate with Dynamics 365 at some point? If so, what type of things are you planning on integrating?
Yes we are. We currently have D365 CE in development including Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. We desire to have Leads come from the website from customers submitting a contact form or possibly web chat. We also have future E-commerce plans, but it will be relatively simple. Likely a B2B customer portal where an established customer can place and check on orders. The main focus of the site will be resources and content and aiding site visitors in planning their purchase or providing technical documents. I know Power Pages can do a lot, but static content and blog posts do not seem to be its strong suit. I am curious if there is a particular CMS or website architecture that will be easier to handle those future integrations. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Michael! Apologies for the months late response… if you’re still looking for a way to connect WordPress and D365, my company has created some awesome Power Automate connectors that can do it.
