Webclient Installation BC 14 CU19

Hello,

I hope this is the correct forum for this topic.

Currently we are trying to perform a Cumulativ Update for Business Central 14. We want to Update to CU 19 our current CU is 11.
Sadly we are not able to install the Webclient. It is always failing with an fatal Error.

ERROR: Package Webserverkomponenten failed with error. See detailed message above.
RegistrySearch: Id = ‘WebComponentsPrerequisitesInstalled’, searching for registry key value.
Id = ‘WebComponentsPrerequisitesInstalled’, Registry key not found. Key = ‘SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\140\Web Components Prerequisites’

After it failed the first time with the following Error we created a new clean Server (Windows Server 2019).
Basicly we are still getting the same Error. Even if we use the Demo Installation.

No Entry in the Windows Log just:
Success - or Error Status of Installation 1603. (Erfolg- bzw. Fehlerstatus der Installation: 1603.)

Does anyone can reproduce the Error or has a solution for it?

We’re “only” on 14.16 (CU 15), so haven’t experienced this issue (yet).
Did you check if any of the Web Components Prerequisites packages have changed since your last version?

When I check C:\bcartifacts.cache, then I can see a difference between CU8 and CU15 (the new folder does not have the Microsoft Report Viewer 2015 folder), but not sure that means something.

Do you have IIS installed?

Yes we have, also reinstalled it multiple times.

Firewall ist enabled.
