We are using Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 and are looking to have a system generated message appear if the margin on any sales order line falls below a pre defined percentage.
We would also like to see that ,if a line on an Order fails that Margin test then the whole Order will be blocked from progressing to a delivery note , until it has been approved by a manager .
Any suggestions as to how we can achieve this please.

Well this required customization in system
You can create one table which can contain Item wise margins and then you can check on sales line for calculated margins
If it is not satisfying the condition then you can block the line or order .
