NAV 2013 R2
This is my process for warehouse shipment in NAV:
- Output Journal Page: Output must be posted
- Sales Order Page: Create Whse. Shipment
- Warehouse Shipment Page: Release shipment and Create Pick
- Picks Page: Register Pick
- Warehouse Shipments Page: Post Shipment
Although this looks small, each line is a different page and involves a lot of jumping about. I have not included all of the checks - such as (are the Location and Bin set correctly in the Production Order?, are the item numbers correct? etc.).
It would be nice if it would automatically create and register the picks for instance. I am being asked why we can’t just scan a bar code and that’s the item despatched.
Any thoughts ?
