Warehouse refill checkbox issue (production order and transfer order planning)

Warehouses (WH) I have:

  1. whMater - Materials for producing semi-finished (sfp) products
  2. whProd - WH where sfp and finished products (fp) produce
  3. whSale - from this WH I sell fp

whSale refilles from whProd when fp is ready - there is no problem.

I use Master planning to create production orders of many sfp + one fp (containing all these sfp) - there is a problem with Refill checkbox for whProd (from whMater):

  1. If Refill is checked - there is:
    • ability to plan transfer form whMater to whProd to cover requirements (I need this)
    • disability to plan production order on whProd (it plans only on whMater!)
  2. If Refill is unchecked - there is:
    • disability to plan transfer from whMater to whProd to cover requirements (I have planned purchase order instead of planned transfer)
    • ability to plan production order on whProd (I need this)

Is there a solution in standart to have two abilities I need at the same time? Thanks!

Uncheck it and in the item coverage use the override on the item to set it to a transfer order. However you CANNOT have the same item being suggested as a Transfer AND Production. You have to pick one to suggest and change as necessary - how would the system now that today it is a transfer and tomorrow you will produce it because you have capacity?
