Validating Date

hi all,

i am using ax 2012. i have a field say Field1 which is of Date(datatype). is there any predefined validator to validate that field in form.

Yes, there is a default validation ensuring that a value is valid for the given data type. The best thing you can do is trying it by yourself.

You can extend the field to the EDT “TransDate” and try to test by yourself.
