Can i use an item which is not entered in item master card
My actual tequirement is : My client use an item X as one of the items in manufacturing an item Y so he dont want to maintain that item X in master
Is it possible ??
Does your customer need to know how many of item x are on stock in order to plan requirements for replenishment for producing item Y ?
If so - you do need the item. If you do not care - or you are maintaining the requirements manually then you do not need to maintain the item card.
But in this case you need to post the costs for item X manually in general ledger directly.
