Hi all! This is my question: We keep items such as perfume in Inventory and for each of them the supplier sent us testers so How can I manage those items? Actually there are not part of Inventory but Company want to do so. So How can I keep track of those testers ? Thnaks
Hi With testers although they are of zero value customers will want to track them and therefore it is probably best to create them as item numbers but separate from the actual sellable item, you can then hold this inventory at zero cost, load them on purchase orders etc.
Shanna, this question was already discussed. http://www.mbsonline.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14822

Hi shanna, it is better if you maintain seperate item category for both perfumes and testers. you can then maintain testers at zero cost. For every PO or SO seperate lines can be maintained for perfumes and testers. so that only Perfume has value not the tester.
