Upload Sales Order Lines through Atlas - Inventory Dimension Identification Not Specified

I am trying to upload Sales Order Line information using Atlas; however, I receive a message stating Inventory Dimension Identification not specified.

What is the Inventory Dimension Idenfication? Is it a table? If so, where is it located?

Its wanting the InventDimId. This number determines the Site, Warehouse, Location, etc combination from InventDim table.

I thought Michelle explained it clearly.

InventDim ID as the name indicates contains details of inventory dimensions. For details of this field, have a look at InventDim table. You should provide the right InventDimID field for each sales line record.

Hi Chris,

How did you solve the problem? I’m getting exactly the same problem. I’m uploading the Purchase Orders lines in the PurchLine through ATLAS & getting the following error message.

Microsoft.Dynamics.BusinessConnectorNet.XppException: Update has been cancelled.
Stock dimension identification not specified

I’m using AX-2009. Please let me know if you need any further detail.
