Good morning, I’m trying to do this upgrade but when I executed the Microsoft Dynamics AX DB Upgrade Preparation tool (AXDbUpgrade.exe)
I receive this error:
“The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002). Click OK to terminate the application.”
In the system event log, I have the follow error:
Event type: Error
Source: SideBySide
Event id: 59.
Description:
Error Generate Activation Context for “\DynamicsAX2009\DatabaseUpgrade\AxDbUpgrade.exe”. The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.
I understand than It can’t find an assembly, but I don’t know which.
My machine has:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP2
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and his client
- Axapta 3.0
