Update the Copied BOM

hi,

I have done the functionality to copy the BOM…Now i want the following functionality

Whenever any changes like add, update or delete is done in the Original Parent BOM the child BOMs or the copies of the original BOM should be be update accordingly.

how do i write the method?

Hi Nick,

I think copy of a BOM, This functionality is already available in our ax right? Then I didnt get you why you write the code to do this.

If you go to Engineer >BOM>Lines (In Released products) .You can identify the BOM with lines.If you want to create a child BOM then click create BOM again and enable the copy option, then automatically the products are automatically assigned to the child BOM.
