Does anybody has experience with an Unix installation of Navision. We installed a 2.6 version ans it’s running ok but it seems to be impossible to enlarge the database bigger than 2.0 gb. Could it be a version problem or is it a limitation of Navision ?
It is possible. It is just so that each database can consist of several files, and each file cannot be larger than 2Gb. So you CAN expand your database, just expand it so i splits over more than one file.
Bert, do you think it’s also possible to upgrade to Attain later on? And on which database are you running Navision? (Native / SQL) We are dealing with a prospect who might want to run Navision on Unix, preferably on Oracle. Is there anyone else who has Navision running on Oracle? Thanks
