Can anyone comment on this scenario? In AX 2012 I have an item with sales unit of measure in Ft. the inventory unit is Lb. The standard ax unit conversion has 1 Yd = 3 ft. I enter a sales price trade agreement where 1 Ft is $1.00. I then enter a sales order for 1 Yd. expecting to get a price of $3.00 but I do not get a price. If I enter the SO in Ft. I get my price. If I set up my trade agreement in Ft. and Yd. I get prices. Must I enter my trade agreements for all possible sales units of measure in order to have my price used? Thanks.
Trade agreements set the unit as a price sensitive point, so if you wanted an interchangeable unit conversion price you would need to specify both trade agreement units. Memory says if you do not have trade agreements and you switched to the inventory unit on the sales line it would recalculate the price, but once you bring in trade agreements the unit becomes key.
