Unique Item Batches

Hi all,

Is there any way to make AX to generate unique batch numbers in a production order ?

For example if i have a quantity of 10 in a production order i want every single item in the order to receeve an unique batch number.

I need this because every unit will have different batch attributes. For example different hight.

Yes, you can create batches for quantities of your choice.

Just create a number group with Per qty.= 1 setup and associate this in Batch number group of the Item you need batches for.

Inventory and warehouse management=> Setup=> Dimensions=> Number groups

Association: Released product details=> Manage inventory tab=> Batch number group
