We are implementing Dynamics AX 2009. We are about a year into it, and are planning on going live in about 8 weeks.
With Shop Floor Control we understand that all registrations have to be transfered first for the times and completed operations to appear in standard AX.
This means that we would not be able to Report as Finished any production order that is completed until the next day.
Has anyone else ran into this issue? Is there a work-around? We just can’t have this…
On the RAF process from the production order you can tick the “accept error” box and this will allow you to do it.
Also in SFC you have production parameters, and in there there is a RAF and Quantity validation tab that you should review.
OK, thanks I figured it out. I can actually do it without checking that checkbox…
Several ways, all correct depending upon your buisness process, where there will be a delay is in the posted time because this has to be transferred, so it comes down to controls on ending and how you view WIP. Glad you sorted it.
