Hi … I get this error when trying to start upp the Navision Commerce Portal Synchronization: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Navision Commerce Portal Synchronization ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Service started. It seems that the registry key \SOFTWARE\Navision\Commerce Portal is missing. Can anyone tell me what it should contain?
I get the same error message, but the registry entries does exist. Has anyone encountered this problem before? The service won’t even start up. I’ve registered the cpsynch.dll manually but still no success. Help! [:(]
It contains names of job and reply queues: Value: Job Queue Label Value Data: Direct=OS:ComputerName\private$\jobmq Value: Reply Queue Label Value Data: Direct=OS:ComputerName\private$\repqmq and subkey HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Navision\Commerce Portal\CPSYNCH with following values: Value: Error Queue Label Value Data: Direct=OS:ComputerName\private$\errormq Value: Synch Queue Label Value Data: Direct=OS:ComputerName\private$\synchmq
Do You have the same message in the eventlog if You start the synch-service after the NAS? /Lars
Generally error looks like installation process simply has not set up Commerce Portal completely. You have to check Synchronization and Request setup parameters (Commerce Portal → Setup → Synchronization / Request). What is there?
