Unable to Copy and Paste

Hi,

I have an end user that is unable to copy and paste in AX, however it works ok in Notepad, Excel and all other applications. Is there a setting in AX that may have been switched off? I have reset the user data and cleared the user cache and still no luck. User is not able to copy and paste with Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V or by right clicking there is no option. User is also in the system administrator user group so I don’t think it is permissions related. There is only 1 user affected. Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

Is the user accessing AX through Remote Desktop, or is the AX client installed locally?

Verify in the class SysSetupFormrun, whether task method has code for taskId for copy & paste to prevent for all users / particular user.

taskId = 771 (Ctrl-c).

No customisations and also couldn’t find the taskid in the class syssetupformrun.

Does the user experience this logging into another local machine?

Have you deleted the usage data for the user?

This has been resolved the user had Webroot Anti spyware installed. which is known to cause issues with clipboard for certain applications.
