Hello,

I am currently working with receiving transfer orders in AX 2012. These are transfer orders between intercompany warehouses for palletized goods. When the transfer status is shipped, I use the arrival overview form to start arrival, which creates an item arrival journal. I go to the item arrival journal lines and see that the pallet id is blank.

Why does the pallet id not fill in with the pallet id that the item was located on at the previous warehouse? Is it not assumed that you keep the item on the same pallet when transferring goods?

Hye Mike,

If you are moving items between inter-company warehouse and/or dimensions, kindly use Inventory Transfer Journals for such transfers.
