You can use a item reclass journal to transfer inventory from one location to another, or you can use a transfer order.
What would be the difference between the two ? What are the differences ?

One is a formalised structured backing up a process with documentation and elements including in-transit movement, valuation and impacting on planning.
The other is a journal with immediate processing impact.
This has been discussed in the past if you use the search, notably when the transfer order was introduced in version 4 from memory.
