Transfer Order msg error

Hi,

We have 2 problesms in transfer order:

  1. This has no lines on it but going by the error message must have had lines in the past . When you try and delete the header the message you get is “Item tracking is defined for the transfer line. You must delete the existing item tracking before modifying or deleting the transfer line“ . If you go into any of the blank lines it tells you need to have an item number first . This transfer order is already posted in both receiving and shipping transactions.

  2. This won’t allow a receipt transaction as it claims the KSCNT4 requires some dimension change . The message given when trying to receive is “The dimensions used in ZTRANS10671 , line # 50000 are invalid. Select Dimension Value Code 3rd Party Hardw for the Dimension code Group for item KSCNT4” . When you look at the dimensions of KSCNT4 it already reads as 3rd party Hardw , so I’m thinking that maybe things were changed during the shipping transaction, but when try to check the shipping transaction is it sorrect. Also this 50000 line is not on the Posted Received because there are only 4 lines in the TO and those are lines# 10000, 20000, 30000, aqnd 40000.

How strange to recognise product codes and document numbers. I presume you are in N.V.or at least calling for them?

I seem to remember on that version you are on we had some issues with the ability to delete transfer order lines when they were in shipment, so with the second line this maybe the case, what you need to go is look at the Transfer Shipment Line Table (5745) and look at the entries in there. You may though need to get your partner to alter the transaction, as I would guess you could not with your license.

With the first one have a look in the Tracking Specification table for the transfer order. I guess it is still in there. Have a look at the transactions if they are fully transacted but still sitting in the Tracking Specification table you can delete them.

Many thanks for your suggestions. I have manage to checked the Reservation Entries for this TO and those unexpected lines are actually in that table. I have deleted the lines and manage to delete the first case. For the second case, I am waiting for the user if he can received the entire TO.
