Transfer Inventory into FA in NAV

Dear friends,

Can you please advise me what is an ideal practice to move inventory items into FA in NAV. My client is a vehicle trader and wants to move some of the vehicle inventory into company’s Fixed Asset.

I hope some of our experts must have come across similar situation and they know the proven way for doing this.

There is no standard provision for that in Navision system.

You have to pass negative Adjustment for Inventory .

Create FA Card and use FA journal to pass Acquisition cost as Inventory cost of that item.
