Hi there, this is my first post and I just want to know if this happens all the time to everybody, every user creating POs or releasing invoices or posting invoices, etc keeps having this window saying the xyz table is locked by another user , wait and try again.
Is there anything within the configuration we missed? Anything I can do to avoid this happening so often? by the way this is Navision 4.0 on SQL , 50 concurrent users at the most.

In addition to Luc’s suggestions…
from xyz actual name depends where to start looking for problem.
if it is related to Dimensions, you have too many Vievs by Dims defined with Update on Posting ticked - a VERY common case. if not, as Luc already said, search the forum is your friend…
it happens because users are simultaneously posting a PO, invoice, SO, item journal, etc. you can check the inventory set-up and look for the automatic cost adjustment. i bet it is set in always. try choosing day or week, if it is ok with your accountant.
