Infact We are using Sure step methodology for implementing our projects ,i was curious to learn it so i started enquiring about it.Is it possible for you to give me a breif idea about it.I do have all the learning guides available on partnersource still i would like to get a practical view on its usage i.e.various windows, stages, phases…step by step process.
Sorry I am confused, you use it, you have all the learning materials, you are starting to enquire, but you want a practical view on its usage? Can you not answer that yourself as you use it?
We use it in the sense as a company ,my company uses it and as part of the team i am not yet exposed to the Sure step methodology which is delt ny other senior members of the team.So now i have access to all guides for this as said earlier again but again studying from books may give you limited exposure when compared to gaining info from somebody who has hands on experience ( in my situation i can not learn from my seniors for various reasons)
Sure Step is black and white, in the real world companies do not always adopt all of the elements. I would suggest that if your company wants you to understand it then they have to tell you how they use it, which means the senior on hands users tell you how it is used. It would be the best way, otherwise the advice here may contravene your own internal policies for one reason or another.
