Supplementary item management in AX 2009

Hi all,

did someone use the suppItem management functionality in AX 2009? I read the official documentation and I should have missed something: I created a supplementary item linked to another in InventTable form, then I add a command line with parent item, then button calculation/Supplementary Item, a form opens and I must have my supplementary item displayed but I have nothing, my form is empty. Does anyone has the same problem and solved it? I’ll try to debug to see what’s happening

Another thing, documentation talks about to fill configuration field in form SuppItemTable but I don’t have this field in table or form, is this normal?

Have you done this setup in Inventory Management > Setup > Supplementary Items?

Yes I found where was the problem, supp quantities wasn’t correctly defined

Seems to be my problem. I want Supplementary Quantity to have a default value, with user override in the Form where I am selecting the item that I want. I am selling Warranty items this way, and wanting to enter 1 for 1 year, 3 for 3 years.
