Hi,

In a Production Order (let us call it PRD-MAIN) In the Production order BOM there is a line which is having the following values

Line type = Pegged Supply

Reservation = Start

Calculation = Yes

Sub-BOM (Has a BOM number)

sub route (Has a route number)

System created a Sub Production order for the child when I started the Main Production order

Later i ended the child production order.

Now when i check the PRD-MAIN production order → View → Price Calculation- OVERVIEW COSTING I am able to see the Item code of the Child Production order listed over there, but no values are displayed either under Realized consumption or Realized cost amount.

Is it possible to get the figures over there?. My objective is finally when i END the Main Production order, i need to include the child cost.

Is the child production order ended?

What version of AX? Is this standard production or project based production?

Hi Adam,

Yes, the child production is ENDED.

We are on AX 2012 R2.

Yes, it is Production related to Projects.

For projects I do not believe the costing works the same, but it depends upon the parent and ending the parent - sorry projects and project views not my strong point, but it is not the greatest for production.
