Anybody care to share details involving experience migrating to SQL option for Navision when values in code fields on Native server will create SQL sort issues? Nav client in my case will remain the same - 3.7 to 3.7 sql. I am aware of numerous sorting related issues for a client wishing to migrate to the SQL environment. Ex: > 10 sort issues involving master tables with the three primary master tables in their case (Vendors, Customers, Items) impacted heavily. The only option I am aware of that allows the customer to maintain current sort order of master tables involves renaming all entries in code fields which generate sort issues. Stats for this customer’s DB = > 40 Gb on Native server (> 50 Gb restored to SQL), ~ 3000 vendors, 5000 customers, 6000 Items.
