The application is part of the database data. It is not an entity that can be separated from the user data.

It cannot be done, since Navision does not work like IIS and SQL ! The db and the application are interdependant of one another. All you can do, performance wise, as far as the db and application are concerned is to split the db physical file up to 16 distinct hard drives. [;)]
