split the production order into 2 production lot with different production order number

I am a new users of Microsoft dynamic AX. In our current production model, we will need to at times split the production order into 2 production lot with different production order number. There are also times we will need to do a binning, split & change the product ID of the child lot & even on-hold the lots. Base on my limited knowledge, these activites seem not possible in AX.

Any one help me.

It is Possible in AX. Use the Split functionality on the Production order tab under Maintain section to achieve this. You’ll get different production order number and Lot IDs based on your splits.
