Some drop down menu does not work. In Purchase Order, example Purchase Code, G/L Account. Any ideas?

Hii Gunjan,
i think for purchaser code field have a relation with Salesperson/Purchaser Table (13)and this table does not have any records, please go to table no. 13 and fill the records. this is not a drop down menus. it’s relation with tables. you also fill the G/L Account Table(15). i think your full database are empty.

i think for purchaser code field have Table filter condition. Please check purchaser code field properties (Table relation) have some filter condition.

Now you can check Company Table information on RTC. i think you have work on empty new company table. please change the company on RTC Using Select Company menu.

In my DB I have only one company.
I checked the table 13 from RTC. I have lods of records over there.

It does look strange. What happens when you press directly Ctrl+F4?

You also say it happens on other fields, which? And which version of NAV are you using?

After pressing Ctrl+F4 than Salesperson/Purchaser (13) List page get opens.

In purchase Line, G/L Account is other field.

Version 2013 R2.

But when it opens with Ctrl+F4 does it display all the data, or is this list also empty?

Kindly check the user setup table (91) ,if there is any additional customization’s done against the particular user.

What if the same user looks up Sales Person code on sales orders? Does the same happen here?

If not, then I’m 99% sure that it’s due to some kind of customizations done in your purchase orders and related to some user based permission. Most of the fields there looks custom too.
