Is it Possible to Size Wise Unit Conversion in Ax 2009, as it is there for Price.

Can you give an example because your question is not clear.

Scenario :

fro MS Sheet the Following are the Unit Conversions.

For 16mm Size = The Unit Conversion is 30Kg = 1No

For 18mm Size = The Unit Conversion is 35.5Kg = 1No and So on.

Here Purchase Unit is KG, Inventory Unit is No, and Sale Unit is No.

I still do not understand your question. If you are saying the 18mm is a dimension for size and you want this to impact on the unit conversion the answer is no.

I think You Got it Right. Still below is an Illustration.

Say suppose for Item 1 , The size Dimension is Mapped.

ITEM Size Unit Conversion Price

ITEM 1 16MM 30kg = 1 no 1kg = 30Rs

ITEM 1 18MM 35kg = 1 no 1kg = 35Rs

ITEM 1 20MM 40kg = 1 no 1kg = 40Rs

How to Achieve it ?

In teh trade agreement why does setting the size = 16mm and the price 30Rs and so on not work for you? The TA relates to the Size not the UOM Conversion, but if the Size to the UOM relates 1:1 then it would not matter.

Hello Nirav, as the conversion units are done at the item level, you can not have for the same item different factors for the same combination of units, what I’m trying to say is that you can not tell the system that 30kg of Item1 =1no, and 35kg of Item1 =1no, becouse the system is not considering the Dimension.

So your alternatives are the Trade Agreements that Adam says, or you will need to create different item for each size.
