shortcuts

Hi sir,

  1. In Navision if u want to see the total fields in a form , then we press CTRL+ F8,

then what about in AXAPTA. is it possible to see the all fields in form.

  1. then what about F8 , in list form we can the copy the above field data to below field.

Then what about this functionality in AXAPTA?

  1. In Navision if we press F6 , it will open the new form .

then what about in AXAPTA.

Thanks and regards

Right click anywhere on the form and select ‘Setup’. ‘User Setup’ form will appear. This will show complete layout.

You can also view all fields by right click → Record info → Show all fields.

Not clear what you you mean.

Would suggest you to search for ‘shortcuts’ in User guide (under Help menu → User help)

Hope this helps,

  1. Right Mouse click, setup, all fields button

  2. This functionality does not exist in AX.

  3. Not sure what you mean by open a new form, but I will take a wild stab and say this functionality does not exist in AX, unless you mean CTRL+N.

Thanks Harish & Steven,

I am throwing example.

In navision we have the sales order , in that sales order header we have a field sell - to customer no . if i press the F6 in that filed then it will open the customer list . ( table relation concept) . simply it will open another form of customer list.

then what about the in Axapta . ( i know the concept of GO - To main table Form ) excep t this is there any short cut .

I Hope i explained very clearly now.

  1. No your F6 example does not work, you hit the down arrow and search or use wildcards in the entry box

  2. There is no short cut to right mouse and go to main table form.
