Serial Tracking in Fixed Asset

Dear Experts,

Is there any provision or option for tracking the fixed asset by serial number (like in MS Dynamic GP - Serial or Lot ) ?

I have 5 Laptop with same config and prices. I want assing one FA Number NOT Five for each.

It is not really the way it works, but if you have one FA Number for 5 assets you could add the 5 as additions and do it this way.

pls. can you calrify what you mean by additions ??
