In automatic send email Ax 2009 I have this type Errors Please give me solution
Method ‘send’ in COM object of class ‘CDO.Message’ returned error code 0x80040213 () which means: The transport failed to connect to the server.

have you set up the e-mail parameters properly.

Are you writing any custom code to trigger the e-mail for any specific activity? If so, First I suggest you to check whether the standard functionality of sending e-mails work.
If the port, account and password not configured properly, obviously it cant connect to the server. Check with your admin on credentials.
under Administration>periodic or Basic>periodic you will find “E-mail broad cast” form. It sends the e-mail to all the online users when you trigger it.( you would need to create a e-mail template to user it). Make sure there are some users connected online and e-mail is mentioned in their user options.

The exact problem is regarding your set up of Email parameters.
May be user name , Outgoing Email server or password must be incorrect.

Even I’m also facing the same error message while running on stage server (Virtual Server Oracle Virtual Machine).
