I am trying to post a delivery note for a sales return order and I get the error message “Replacement Order Setup is missing”. Where do I need to amend the setup?

I am using the following process:-

  • Create a return order for an item
  • Create a new arrival journal.
  • I am using the default values to select the return order RMA number, I am unticking check the picking location and then using the Functions button to create the lines.
  • I enter a disposition code of Replace and the location to replace into.
  • If I post the arrival journal I get the return sales order OK but when I try to post the delivery note I get the error stating that I am missing the replacement order setup.

What other fields do I need to complete to create the replacement order?

Functions - Create Replacement Order from teh sales order. You have told it you are going to create one and have not prior to receiving the return order back. Create one as you have said you will through the disposition code.
