Hi all
I have created the sales order in which one item is delivered partial and now when i am cancelling the delivery reminder for that item showing the following error:
“Quantity ordered may not be reduced because there are not enough inventory transactions with ‘on order’ status.”
“The items are Sold, Deducted or Picked.”
how can i get rid of this error.

Probably you are cancelling the delivery reminder for the line item whose quantity is already picked through picking list registration, so try unpicking those quantity and give a try.
How i can unpick that quantity, please guide me
unpick quantity and then remove the reservation.
Unpick —>Sales order form → Lines → Go to “Inventory” button and click on “Pick” and put -quantity- on pick now.
Un Reserve - > Sales order (form) → Lines → Go to “Inventory” button and click on “Reverse” and remove reservation.

when i am using the above procedure getting the following error:
Quantity 414.00 cannot be picked because inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered or Reserved physical are insufficient.
This may be due to the fact that 414.00 are transferred for processing via an output order.
Well at least you know you have a pick. On the registration use the function to cancel the picking route, then deliver remainder the sales order line.
sales order line i select the item then inventory button then Registration, but this form id blank.
From where i can perform this activity.
Sales order>Pickinglist registration> select the specific item in the lower pane and Functions>Cancel Pickingline
thanks guys it is done. i did it from the Output order form function button “end inventory order” then cancel delivery reminder from the sales line

Im facing the same issue right now. I have tried all the methods given above, but its not working. As the last suggestion to ‘End Inventory Order’, when I go to Output order form / Function and found the ‘End Inventory Order’ is greyed out.
how can I delete this transaction on order? please help.Tq
@varma, I tried ur method, it worked by adding to the physical inventory, but the available quantity being derived by deducting the ordered from the physical inventory. So how can u unpick such that it doesnt change the status to "on order " again.
