RIMD VS rimd ??

hai… do know what is the difference between RIMD and rimd in NAV license?

RIMD means that the user has direct access to the object (probably table data), and has direct access tot he data via a form or report for example.

rimd means they only have indirect access that is assigned though some other object. For example the user may have rimd access to the GL Account table, and a code unit may have indirect permission to the GL table. This means that the user can run this function and be given access int hat function to the Table indirectly. BUT if they try to access the table through a form or report, they will get a permission error.

This is mostly used where you need people to have access to objets only some times.
