Restrict users per department

Hi Guys,

I want to restrict users per department in projects.

For Example :

Depart A employees should be able to view only the projects of Depart A as per the Dimension Department

Depart B employees should be able to view only the projects of Depart B as per the Dimension Department

is it possible ?

Version : Dynamics AX 2012 CU7

Can some one help on this ?

You should be able to do it through the Extensible Data Security. Look at Overview of Security Policies for Table Records.

Iam unable to solve issue is there any documentation with screenshot available
