I have designed a report that uses transheader and transfooter sections. These are working fine on most of the pages that are printed but every now and again these sections do not fire and nothing is printed at the bottom and top of a page. Has anydoby experienced a similar situation because I am a bit mystified! Thanks in advance… Chris.
Trans-sections are not executed when using CurrReport.NewPage or if the page-break is not within the same dataitem. In cases like that you have to handle this kind of manually, e.g. via Header/Footer.
Thanks for your reply Anfinnur, I only have one dataitem in my report so that should not be the problem. I have noted that the pages where the trans-sections are not executing all have a group total section as the first printed item on the page. What I think is happening is this… If the physical page break occurs during a body section then the trans-section fires OK. If the physical page break fires during a group header section then the trans-sections do not fire. Does this ring bell with anybody? Chris.
