Note this point from the above link

There used to be a mobile solution from Microsoft, but it was discontinued. You would have to find a NAV Partner that does one as an add-on or build one yourself. It can definitely be done.

Press F1 and in there go to Business Notification → Integrating Microsoft Dynamics NAV Classic with Microsoft Dynamics Mobile.

Hope this would help.

NAV is just like any other SQL database and it’s Web Services work just like any other Web Services. You don’t need documents for connecting specifically to NAV, you just need a generic document. Google should be fine for that.
