Accidentaly the native navision 4.1 database has been delelted . Any utility or way to recover the deleted data and restore XXXX.fdb . please don’t ask about the backup , becuase it not my fault …but i need to corrected …

Deleted as in - Selected the database file & hit delete or has someone cleaned out the data.
If the file was deleted 1st check the recycle bin & cross your fingers.
2nd, If it was too large Windows doesn’t put the file in the recycle bin and asks you if you want to permanently deleted it.
3rd, do not write to the disk! the file is still there just marked to be overwritten.
4th try a file recovery program like this… http://pcworld.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.dtidata.com/products_ff_undelete.asp – it’s cheap!

Perhaps 5th should also be 1a, 2a, 3a & 4a too.
We do daily backups & keep a weeks worth Mon->Sun.
Next Monday will Overwrite this monday.
Never needed to restore yet (Knock on wood) but it’s good to know it’s there.
And nav comes with backup options - no reason not to have it setup.
