Reassigning Salespeople to Customers in bulk

Hi,

We are using Nav R2 2009 and would like advice on how to reassign Salespeople to Customer Cards in bulk.

I am familiar with the process of setting up a new Salesperson and changing the salesperson on each card one by one but as salespeople change roles, I would like a way to automatically reassign all Customer Cards currently allocated to ‘Salesperson A’ to ‘Salesperson B’.

Does anyone know if this is possible and how to do it?

You can take data in .CSV/.TXT format and update it through data port /XML PORT.

I’m not exactly sure how to do what you’ve described but it did prompt me to dig further and I found that using the Data Migration Tool I could export to Excel, modify the field data and re-import the revised data.
