Raid configuration

I would like some updated opinions on whether Raid 5 is an appropriate configruation for Dynamics NAV 5.0. I think in the past we recommended Raid 10.

No it is not. There are situations in which it might be acceptable, but generally those situations don’t apply to your average NAV implementation. Don’t use RAID5 for NAV.

NO do not use RAID 5 for NAV, on either Native or SQL. On Native you should be using RAID 1 with individual arrays for each database part.
