is there a way to limit the quantity (positive adjustment) in item journal?

is it possible?

yes but the limit may differ

if possible the qty will be equal to the qty in the sales order

then i suggest you write a for loop…giving the limit ot the condition you want.

You would need to modify the system to achieve this. Not sure why you would though. Even a limit would be by line, so if you limit me to 100 and I find 1000 it just means I put 10 lines or 10 journals on.
