Purchase Order Registration Posting for quarantine management activated item

Hi,

We have an Item for which regiostration requirement & quarantine management is activated in Item Model Group.

Aslo the quarantine warehouse is atatched to the receipt warehouse.

Now when we post the Purchase order line >Update Line > Registration > autocreate.

Then system is throwing the infolog as “If the items are to be registered directly on a location, it must be in a quarantine warehouse.”

Means we have to select the quarantine warehouse & location to register the same.

IMy question is that Instead of manually selecting the quarantine warehouse (althoush in model group quarantine warehouse is attached) is there any setup by which system can automatically selects the quarantine warehouse automatically ?

It is a Bug, the system has to pick the quarantine warehouse automatically.

This is fixed in 6.2 and where it works as you expected.

Thanks for reply.You are right as it’s a bug in AX 2012 Feature pack & got resolved in AX 2012 R2.

Just now I tested the same in R2.

Hi Kranthi,

I am using, AX 2012 R2 CU7, I am getting the same error message when i perform the Registration process through Item arrival Journal.

The same is working fine when you do the registration on Purchase order line > Update line > Registration during product receipt posting (System automatically picks the quarantine location from Item master > Warehouse items)

where as why it doesn’t pick the default location for Quarantine warehouse on item arrival Journal, any idea?

if i manually change the WH and location to Quarantine WH and Quarntine location on Item arrival Journal , then it accepts.
