Can anybody explain me the practical use of Expeted Receipt date, Promised Receipt Date and Requested Receipt date in Nav PO with their difference?
Where do they effect in purchasing cycle rathen than just been infomative?

Except expected I don’t think any of these other dates play a role in system, they r for info on Purchase Header. Expected receipt date does update the Item’s availability which u can see Item Availability by Period.This date also can come on Purchase Order directly if that is result of Planning i.e. ur Expected Receipt date would be equivalent to days subtracted from (if lead time etc etc r filled in) Planned Delivery date on Sales Order.
So if my Sales Orders Planned Delivery Date is 02/09/11 lead time on Item Card is 10 d then Expected Receipt Date would be 01/27/11. These days r not exactly 10 days from the date u have to include off days as well + the day of receipt i.e. 11th day.
Easiest way to check this would be by using Order promising.
