In AX 4.0 and AX 2009, we had an add-on module PSA (Professional services automation) which had the advanced features of resource scheduling. Wanted to check if these will be / is available in AX 2012?

a lot of it is now incorporated by Microsoft in the Project Accounting add-on, which can be installed with the Base version of AX 2012. See Project Management and Accounting Add-in [AX 2012].

You mentioned the Project Accounting Add-On, which I have seen demo’s and it is excellent. But the link you have posted, whilst telling how to use it doesn’t also tell us where we can get the add-on.
Do you know where we can access this, I struggled to find it on PartnerSource, any idea’s ?

For official installations, you should use your MS channel to provide you with the necessary software packages.

Its been incorprated in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Project Management module. Plus you have a heap of added functionality such as;
Intercompany Timesheets
Indirect labour costs
Multi Week timesheets
and Time entry useability enhancements.
