production route and route card journal

Hi,

On production order, I understand the production route is copied from Item route. However does AX require that the route on route card journal is the same as production route as well? For example, I change the quantity on the route card journal which is different from the standard qty on production route.

That is fine, that is reporting what happens, the route is the standard for costing, you can record actuals and have this impact on the cost of the item.
