I have Finish the Production of a BOM, there are 20 Qty of it, Now i want to Assign Serial Number to all the QTY, How it is Possible.
BOM has Serian Number Dimension Active and Also I have Tried to Registered it From Prouduction–>Inventory–>Registration but it is not Working. the Create Serial Number button is not active.
Also While Spliting…How to Split 20 Qty, to 1 in One Shot…as While i do spliting it ask for Split Qty when i Put 19 then It Creates 19 + 1 Qyt…and while Puting 1then it Creates 1 + 19 Qty…
Please Suggest the Idea on the Same.

The Above Question is Shorted Out as By Mistake the Serial Number was De-activated By user as it was new item and there was no transaction pending on it.
Hi,
To have a Serial Number for an item, activate the Serial Number Dimension in the Inventory Dimensions form and attach the same Dimension group to an item.
Also Create a Serial Number Group, and create a Number sequence for that group, and select the following check boxes:
Number sequence No.
Only for Inventory Transactions
On Physical Update
Per Qty = 1 , if you want to have individual Serial Number for each item.
While doing Report as Finished of a Production order, the Report as Finished Quantity (i.e.) Good Quantity will have serial number attached with it based on the above settings.
